When I choose Dongle I get “Remove Device” which I removed and added back and searched for the latest drives from Automatic updates from device manager. There are no other BT adapter or driver installed. If I power off the speaker they will disappear. Restarted, still there is no battery level indicator for the Bluetooth speaker.

The light is bright and blips and is annoying if this is in a visible location. The drivers just mess everything up, it works much better if you just plug it in and use the regular windows bluetooth options.
I wasted too much time before I realized this, learn from my mistakes. Good news: This works, and it’s the cheapest bluetooth dongle on Amazon. That’s why your here, right? Don’t be ashamed, that’s why we’re all here.
Go ahead and buy it, just don’t deal with the driver nonsense. Update: I was contacted by the seller after posting my review. They seemed very concerned and offered to rectify the issue by updating their site and compensate me for my lost time. The dongle has worked perfectly so far, and there have been no complains with the product.
